Reaching Economic Independence: The Transformation Squared Program
Transformation Squared empowers survivors of domestic violence to pursue economic independence and rebuild stability. Our clients receive professional development, career-focused training, and internships to address long-term employment barriers. The program also provides individualized resources and timely financial assistance to address clients’ urgent needs. This approach helps remove immediate barriers while building toward long-term self-sufficiency.
Equipped to Succeed
Each clientt is equipped with a computer and grants in real-time for things such as public transportation, professional attire, course materials, childcare, housing transition assistance (e.g. leaving a shelter and settling into an apartment) and needs specific to their families.A Powerful Partnership
Our program is run in partnership with Sanctuary for Families. Prior to entering the Transformation Squared Program, our clients complete Sanctuary’s 4-month Economic Empowerment Program, where they learn basic job skills. That includes TABE proficiency work (a diagnostic exam used to test a person’s skills in Reading, English and Math) and securing professional certifications for administrative positions. On the Right Career Path
The Transformation Squared Program also provides grants for additional career track occupational training in areas like Electronic Health Records, Pharmacy Tech and IT Support. We then help our clients gain work experience and job networking opportunities through internships with career track employers.
